Exposure Scenarios
One of the main elements of the REACH Regulation is the communication along the supply chain of the risks related to the use of chemical products and the measures to control them.
For dangerous substances produced or imported in quantities exceeding 10 tonnes per year and for mixtures containing these substances, suppliers are, except in particular cases, required to provide information on the “safe” methods of use, methods described in the Exposure Scenarios , which indicate the operating conditions to be respected and any risk management measures to be adopted.
The Extended Safety Data Sheet (eSDS) consists of the Safety Data Sheet completed by the Exposure Scenarios.

Funzioni principali
The EPY+.ESM module allows you to:
- Determine which scenarios should be attached to the SDS, indicating them in section 16.
- Import scenarios as external files, linking them to substances, raw materials or products.
- Guarantee the automatic choice of scenarios to attach to the products, among those inserted for the various raw materials.
- Automatically distribute the Exposure Scenarios together with the SDSs, if you have software for automatic distribution of the SDSs (EPYdocument-plus or EPY.Delivery).
