Regulation (EU) n. 2021/643 (XVI ATP)
Amends Annex VI of CLP by replacing the text of the classification notes from J to R, to improve their wording.
Effective from 10 May 2021.
Mandatory application: from 10 May 2021.


Regulation (EU) n. 2020/1182 of 19 May 2020 (XV ATP)
Amends Annex VI (list of harmonized classifications).
Effective from 1 September 2020.
Mandatory application: from 1 March 2022


Regulation (EU) n. 217/2020 of 4 October 2019 (XIV ATP)
Amends Annexes II, III and VI of CLP (list of harmonized classifications).
Insertion of the two new additional hazard indications EUH211 and EUH212 for mixtures containing the substance titanium dioxide in nanoparticles above 1%, and classification notes V, W and 10.
Effective from 8 March 2020
Mandatory application: from 1 October 2021, except for some formal changes, applicable retroactively from 1 December 2019.


Reglamento (UE) n. 2018/669
Publication of Annex VI which contain the names of the substances in all the languages of the European Union. There are no changes of the information on the already present substances in list, neither new insertions or cancellations.
Entry into force: 24 May 2018

  Regulation 2016/918 of 19 May 2016 (VIII ATP)
The Regulation implements the fifth edition of the GHS.
Entrance into force 20th days from the date of publication.
Mandatory Application: 1° February 2018
Transitory period: until 1° February 2020, for products placed on market before 1° February 2018, it is not required to reclassify, repacking and relabel, if in accordance with CLP apply until that date.


  Regulation (EU) No.1272/2008 of 16 December 2008

This is the consolidated version of 30 December 2015.
New criteria of classification, labeling and packaging of hazardous substances and mixtures.
Entrance into force 20th days from the date of publication.
Mandatory Application:
1° December 2010 for suppliers of substances;
1° June 2015 for suppliers of mixtures.
Transitory period:
Substances and mixtures can be classified, labelled and packaged in accordance with this Regulation, respectively, before 1° December 2010 and 1° June 2015.
Derogation:
until 1° December 2012 it is not required to reclassify, repacking and relabel substances according to CLP if placed on the market before 1° December 2010;
until 1° June 2017 it is not required to reclassify, repacking and relabel mixtures according to CLP if placed on the market before 1° June 2015


  Regulation (EU) No.2015/1221 of 24 July 2015

Amending classification and labelling of certain substances in Annex VI of CLP Regulation as well as inclusion of new substances with harmonized classification.
Entrance into force 20th days from the date of publication.
Mandatory application: from 1° December 2017
Transitory period: Harmonized classifications can be applied before the date of mandatory application.

Amending CLP classification for the purposes of introducing hazard and precautionary statements in the Croatian language and its adaptation to technical and scientific progress.


  Regulation (EU) No. 605/2014 of 5 June 2014

Introducing hazard and precautionary statements in the Croatian language, with annex I and II.
Amending the classification and labeling of 9 substances, substance index number 015-188-00-X is deleted and added 14 new substances with harmonized classifications, with annex III.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 26 june 2014.
Compulsory implementation:
the changes in Annexes I and II to this Regulation shall apply from 1 December 2014 for substances and 1 June 2015 for mixtures;
the changes in Annex III to this Regulation shall apply from 1° April 2015.


 Regulation (EU) No. 944/2013 of 2 October 2013

Amending the classification and labeling of certain substances in Annex VI of the CLP. added new substances with harmonized classifications.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication.
Compulsory implementation:
since 1° December 2014 for suppliers of substances.
since 1° June 2015 for suppliers of mixture.
Derogation:
substances classified, labelled and packaged in accordance with Regulation CLP and placed on the market before 1 December 2014, shall not be required to be relabelled and repackaged until 1° December 2016;
mixtures classified, labelled and packaged in accordance with Directive 1999/45/EC and placed on the market before 1 June 2015, shall not be required to be relabelled and repackaged until 1° June 2017.
Transitory period:
Harmonized classifications can be applied before the dates of compulsory application.


  Regulation (EU) No. 758/2013 of 7 August 2013

Amending classification labeling of certain substances in Annexes I, II, IV and V of Regulation 790/2009.
Compulsory implementation:
since 13 August 2013. Suppliers are not required to relabel or repackage substances, that they have already placed on the market in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, before entry into force of this Regulation.


  Adjustment Directive 2013/10/EU

Adjustment Art.3 Directive 2013/10/UE relating to non-flammable, flammable and extremely flammable aerosols.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication.
Compulsory implementation:
since 19 june 2014 for aerosol dispensers containing a substances;
since 1°june 2015 for aerosol dispensers containing a mixtures.
Transitory period
aerosol dispensers containing mixtures may be labelled in accordance with this regulation before 1° June 2015;
aerosol dispensers containing mixtures and placed on the market before 1° June 2015, are not required to be relabelled in accordance with this regulation until 1° June 2017.

Correcting Directive 75/234/EEC relating to non-flammable, flammable and extremely flammable aerosols.


Regulation (EU) No. 487/2013 of 8 May 2013

This regulation takes into account the 4th edition of the GHS.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication.
Compulsory implementation:
since 1° December 2014 for suppliers of substances;
since 1° June 2015 for  suppliers of a mixtures.
Transitory period:
mixtures classified, labelled and packaged in accordance with Directive 1999/45/EC and placed on the market before 1 June 2015, shall not be required to be relabelled and repackaged in accordance with this Regulation until 1° June 2017.
Postponement:
mixtures classified, labelled and packaged in accordance with Directive 1999/45/EC and placed on the market before 1 June 2015, shall not be required to be relabelled and repackaged until 1° June 2017


Regulation (EU) No. 618/2012 of 10 July 2012

III upgrade to CLP. Amending the classification and labeling of certain substances in Annex VI of the CLP.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication.
Compulsory implementation: 1° december 2013.


  Regulation (EU) No. 286/2011 of 10 March 2011

II upgrade to CLP. Amending the classification and labeling of certain substances in Annex VI of the CLP. Added new hazard statement, new criteria for classification and labeling, suppressed suppl. hazard statement EUH066 and replaced with the new hazard statement H420.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the 20th day following its publication.
Compulsory implementation:
since 1° december 2012 for suppliers of substances;
since 15 June 2015 for suppliers of mixtures.
Transitory period:
Substances and mixtures may, before 1° December 2012 and 1° June 2015 respectively, be classified, labelled and packaged in accordance with this Regulation.
Postponement’s due date:
Substances classified, labelled and packaged in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 and placed on the market before 1 December 2012, are not required to be relabelled and repackaged in accordance with this Regulation until 1 December 2014;
Mixtures classified, labelled and packaged in accordance with Directive 1999/45/EC  or Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 and placed on the market before 1 June 2015, are not required to be relabelled and repackaged in accordance with this Regulation until 1° June 2017.


  Regulation (EC) No. 790/2009 of 10 August 2009

Amending classification, labelling and packaging of substances of Annex VI CLP.
Compulsory implementation: 1° december 2010.


  Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 CLP of 16 December 2008

New criteria for classification, labelling and packaging of substances and hazardous chemical mixtures.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the 20th day following its publication.
Compulsory implementation:
since 1° December 2010 for suppliers of substances;
since 1° June for suppliers of mixtures.
Transitory period:
Substances and mixtures may, before 1° December 2010 and 1° June 2015 respectively, be classified, labelled and packaged in accordance with this Regulation.
Postponement’s due date:
Substances classified, labelled and packaged in accordance with Directive 67/548/EEC and already placed on the market before 1° December 2010, are not required to be relabelled and repackaged in accordance with this Regulation until 1 December 2012.
Mixtures classified, labelled and packaged in accordance with Directive 1999/45/EC and already placed on the market before 1° June 2015 are not required to be relabelled and repackaged in accordance with this Regulation until 1 June 2017
