Sheets in WinWord format
If the regulations require complete, updated MSDSs, it becomes fundamentally important to have them in electronic format compatible with the majority of your customers so that they can be transmitted in a timely manner and at low cost.
Those who have EPYplus already have the ability to extract MSDSs in Word format through the base module (EPY+.SDS).
For users with large numbers of MSDSs, Telematic has created a module running under Windows capable of performing the mass conversion of MSDSs to Word format along with other very useful functions.EPY.DOC System for archiving MSDSs created in Word format with EPY
Even though perfectly interfaced with the base module, EPY.DOC is a software package external to EPY.
The functions for selecting and exporting the MSDSs you wish to convert are activated in EPY. EPY.DOC converts the imported MSDSs to Word documents, maintaining their original character or automatically reducing them (it is even possible to fit a MSDS on to a single page). The list of new documents is displayed by code or product name.
The software has a series of buttons that facilitate the various functions: opening a document for editing, reprinting and e-mail transmission.
One very important function is that of selecting MSDSs to be sent to a customer (or agent or warehouse). In fact, it is possible to create a copy of EPY.DOC to send together with the MSDSs, permitting the new user a large part of the available functions (you can prevent the text of the MSDSs from being changed).
The complete functions are described in the documentation.Prerequisites
EPY.DOC requires Word 97 or higher and the base EPY module (EPY+.SDS).
