Danger labels
Managing hazard labels involves solving three types of problems:

- Format
- Printing services
Content
Starting from the recipe and the danger limit values for the individual substances, EPY automatically identifies the danger symbols to apply to the hazard label, the R and S phrases and any special phrases, etc., in conformity with the requirements of the law.
The hazard label can also contain additional information such as batch number, weight, volume, the date, a bar code or free text. This data can be manually entered or retrieved from external files.
It is possible to print hazard labels with the data in several languages simultaneously.
Format
While the regulations impose dimensional limitations on hazard labels as a function of the volume of the container, commercial requirements may influence the layout.
EPY.LAB, the hazard label creation and printing module, allows for very flexible management of the label layout.
The user, very simply and intuitively designs a label using a mouse, buttons and ruler. Designing a label means deciding where and when the various elements will be printed. The resulting forms can be saved by name (such as, large, small, medium, etc.).
Printing the hazard label for a certain product is as simple as selecting the product and the label format: the data calculated for that product by EPY will be printed to fit the selected label format.
Services
Each company's needs are unique. Small and large hazard labels, and in different formats, for a wide of variety of materials, 100 labels a day, 2,000 labels a day, etc.
EPY.LAB supports the use of any type of printer. From traditional office printers (laser, ink-jet, dot-matrix) to high-performance thermal transfer printers that even allow printing on special media.
The printer can also be driven by external programs (such as production launch), which also allow the insertion of a printer in the production line.
